They're just large, but boo boo has an enlarged spleen too. One og my little girls also refuses to use a litter pan. Some just don't take to it.

I use puppy pads around the litter pan, and some of the time the ones who don't use the pans will go there. But, they often like going in front of doors. They don't have favorite places they like to go.

Newspapers they tear up and play on/in. ;p. Plus we don't get the paper so only have a few sale ads from the mail once a week.

About a year ago Tocho would actually go to sleep in the litter pan after it was cleaned and the litter replaced. He doesn't do that anymore, thank goodness.

[Moderator's Note:
try putting scent by the doors that they associate with you.
Scent marking at doors is a territorial declaration. With
most ferrets we've known over close to 3 decades if you
make the declaration with a scent they associate with you
then they will not feel a need to go there.

Also always be careful to not clean such places with
ammonia because that smells like it is okay to go there.]
