Most often animals are on antifungals for 6 months or so before
stopping with careful monitoring of labs and such. If you stop and
start you are potentially creating a situation where the organism can
learn to develop around the antifungal and thus we now have a super bug
that can't be cured and fugal organisms are touch enough to treat so we
don't want to see that. Best of luck
