Two of mine are chronic face lickers, and it doesn't matter if I'm wearing makeup or not. They will try and lick my hands when I have lotion on as well.
I use bare minerals makeup and a face lotion from my dermatologist's office. How would I know if either of these things are dangerous for them? They don't have access to this stuff except on my skin.

try to get an ingredients list if the product doesn't
have one and then look them up.
