Subject: [ferrethealth] cyst
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Now that Whizbang is getting better at cleaning herself
and we are checking her daily it is obvious that she has
a cyst in her vulva which repeatedly swells and then bursts.
Last night and today offered especially clear views.

I realize that an apocrine cyst is a possibility.

Also, I am wondering if bite injuries can ever cause cysts.
(I know from personal experience that in humans injuries
like wasp stings can do so because I have a number from
a type of wasp in Suriname due to a bad day in the field
31 years ago, so that makes me wonder if other types of
injuries could do the same thing.)

Definitely something the vet has to see.
