Bite injuries usually get abscesses which are more dangerous than most
cysts. They should be lanced and drained as soon as they are found.
If left to burst on their own there is a high chance it will burst
inside rather than outside and the puss can get into the blood stream.
I would have my vet make sure this is not a reoccurring abscess, left
untreated they can burst and return many times.
