Just wanted to let you know that Nina's disease progressed so fast that she was laying on her bed all the times. She was still eating (only her favorite food, of course), but she wasn't drinking water by herself, neither going to the bathroom.
This night she vocalized a few times, as well as during the day. I think she was in pain.
Her spine was all crippled, there was a big bump were there wasn't anything 2 days ago, and her spine started looking weird on her neck as well.
It wasn't an easy decision, I had set Sat as 'the date', but I had to let my wishes aside and think on her.
The vet was really nice, yep, you get what you pay for.

He absolutely understood I was a grad student on a stipend and did everything he could to help (ok, it's still more than the average, you can't have everything).
We waited until she was sedated, it was sad.
I could not afford having a necropsy, but the vet will send her anyways and we let me know the results. I will let you know what they find.
