Hi,
Can you tell me how is the pasteurella diagnosed?
I have a 4 year old Minnie, who I took to the vet 12/14/08. She had
sneezing, runny eyes, clear nasal discharge and loss of normal appetite. X-rays and
bloodwork all normal. The vet said it was some type of "flu" gave me clavamox to
prevent complications, and 1/4 chlortrimeton tablet twicw daily. Four out of 6
ferrets came down with same symptoms and got same treatment, without the
bloodwork and xrays.
Now the original ferret and one other have has relapses of the same symptoms
on and off since then.Could this be pasteurella? How do you get drops into
such small noses,
Thanks debbie
