Jilli,
I consider you VERY lucky in that a furball was regurgitated, as the usual=
method of removal is surgery, usually after much distress
as it is worked further into the digestive system.
During the shedding periods in your area, some daily doses of Ferret-lax.
Cat-lax(?), or
plain old Vaseline petroleum jelly over, say, a 3 week period will greatly =
reduce the incidence of the furballs.
