I am very sorry for your little one. It's horrible trying to make them fell comfortable by all means and not being able to. Hang in there! If you think it's necessary, go for a second opinion (this was really important to me).
I can't really help a lot... but just wanted to mention that maybe his low lymphocyte count may be due to the pred treatment. Remember it's an immunossupressant. I would be concerned about the neutrophil and monocyte counts, it sounds like an infection, why did the vet put him on Baytril again? But also dehydration could change the numbers, because the blood is 'less diluted'.
I hope he gets better soon, you are taking a great care of him!
