Subject: [ferrethealth] Sneezing Ferrets
To: Ferrethealth <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

My husband and i were both sick.
Even though we tried to keep our faces away from
them,it was in the house already.
They were sneezing, had runny noses it was a pitiful
sight.
We have some stuff that is for respiratory problems.
All you do is shake it and put a dot from your finger
then on their nose,LOL they curl up their noses cuz it
"smells" like vicks.

All babies are sneeze free now. It saved many vet bills!! (gasp)
The name of the stuff is called VetRx and yes it is
safe for ferrets.100% Natural
You might want to check the internet for it,it is a
small bottle its like a oil.
Hope this helps someone.

Thanks~
Jody

[Moderator's Note:
DO use caution, though, because at least one of
the things that give Vicks VapoRub it's distinctive
odor have been shown to cause inflammation in
other studies, so if this smells like that Vicks
product then it might carry similar risks, maybe
yes, maybe no.

Okay all meds used with the treating vet prior to
use, and know that ferrets sometimes can have
serious respiratory illnesses pretty well hidden.]
