Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] Vaccination reactions

I have to disagree here. Last week I took my little Sashaa in to the vet for a check up, and he asked if I wanted her vacs updated, and I had to say no. Five years ago when I first got her, and took her in for vaccinations, she got sick and very lethargic within hours. I called the vet immediately and he said that some ferts react differently. Last week he told me that he recently vaccinated a fert for rabies and distemper, and the poor thing immediately went into convulsions and started vomiting. I forget exactly what he did to get him back to normal, but eventually he did. Bottom line is that he fully understood my reluctance to have my wee one vaccinated.
