Subject: [ferrethealth] kindey failure

im took sassy to the vet today. shes a older ferret. 2 weeks ago the vet said she had kindey failure. her bun was 122 on feb 23. today it was 123. her alt was 67. her pcv=201 and her tp = 6.2gldc. she getting sub-q 2 times aday 15 cc. plus 1cc of caraate 2 times a day. plus because her sugar was low we are starting her on pred. now we spoke about how she may have2 days 2 weeks 2 months before her time is up and i can accept that i dont like it. however when my mind is taking all this in i dont think of some questions i should ask. i will call the vet in the morning. what im wondering is would a trasfusion help? i have 3large ferrets that could do this.
