First, I just want to thank everyone for all of the help!
We went to the vet today...
The insulinoma was removed from her chart :) Her BG was 181, though (I hope that was from the little bit of Pred. that I gave her, but we are going back next week for another complete work up). She has a pretty beat up spine, but no breaks! There is something going on with her GI tract though :? We were sent home with just supportive care instructions...sucralfate, metronidazole, and endosorb (she has loose stool now that she has been on nothing but runny Carnivore Care :( ). She was dehydrated so I am off to buy Pedialyte now.
There are a few concerns, though. Her protein was incredibly low (2.2) and she is slightly anemic (40%...possibly due to all the diarrhea and not eating???). So, for now, I am just trying to get her stronger and keep her comfortable untill next week and see what happens. They also found something the size of an almond that needs biopsy...maybe lymphoma? :( Time to research!
As for Minka, she is pretty much just laying around in her blanket and barrel. I have been carrying her everywhere to make sure I know what is going on. I think she enjoyed chasing the neighbors dog back into her fence this morning...she was looking everywhere :) She has regained control of her bowls and bladder, but can't get to the box...I just have to watch out when she wakes up and get her on some paper towels. She can scoot herself around with her front paws and move her back legs, but her back end just tumbles around :( She has started biting...only a few times and I really can't blame her with all she has been through.
I guess that is it for now...I will try to post another update as her condition changes.
