Actually, it is. Our dog has implants, the surgery was done more then 5 years ago. However, to my knowledge, the procedure is not available for ferrets.

I currently have two blind without cataracts and one quickly loosing sight to developing cataracts and have had one other in the past also blind from cataracts. I have questioned my vet about surgery or any other possible treatment. He is not aware of anything that can be done in ferrets.
