Hi Sukie
Is it possible to get the brand name or does that go against list policy?

[Mentioning it by name would go against list policy. Unlike with
recalls the exact reason for the illness encountered is still not
substantiated, so a description or an ingredients list is okay
but not a product name. -- Moderator]

I've talked a couple of people out of using a product that claims to be for ferrets but is a herbal remedy, when I looked into the herbs it could have been very bad for insulinoma ferrets which is what these people were going to use it for.

[That sort of situation also has arisen with some supplements
such as Brewers Yeast which is fine with diabetes but not with
insulinoma when given beyond a normal level for nutrients in
foods. -- Mod]

I know we're not talking about the same thing here but knowing some of these products is half the battle, especially when someone says "hey this says it's good for ferrets and look it supposed to do this" Unfortunately, a lot of products that are used successfully for cats and dogs cannot be used with ferrets
Thanks
