Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Cataracts
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

my little 5 1/2 year old has cataracts and my vet gave me some eye drops to give him daily to help keep them from inflaming and to help stave them off for a longer period. it wont help stop it completely but will help keep it away for a longer period of time.

what she gave me was a small bottle called "neo-poly-dex" in 5ml bottle. just one or two drops in each eye daily will make sure things are comfortable for him. just make sure you have a treat ready for when you do it. mine just hates it.

I hope this helps.
