Subject: [ferrethealth] Not pooping

Hi there,
I recently adopted a male ferret who is about 4 years old. He has not pooped for 12 hours. We are going to the vet in an hour, but I just thought I'd post to see if anyone knows what is wrong.
He seems to be a bit itchy and his penis seems to be swollen. He is drinking but not eating. He is urinating (in small amounts) but not deficating.
Any thoughts?
