I'm not a vet, but I didn't think that ferrets could get rid of an intestinal blockage by vomiting it up. My understanding is that it's either got to pass through the rest of the digestive tract or be removed surgically. Can someone correct/confirm that?

If it is an intestinal blockage, some hairball remedy/laxative or a little plain canned pumpkin may help him to pass it on his own.

Good luck!
