Subject: [ferrethealth] Heartworm

I have 8 fuzzies and I was told by the vet I can use a mix of 1 %Ivomectin and Propylene Glycol.The mix recipe is: 1% Ivomec 0.3milileters to one ounce (30ml) of propylene glycol. Dosage is:Giving 0.4 milliliters of this diluted solution is given to each ferret per month.
I also use Atvantage to prevent flea problems. Do you think this will interact with the heartworm treatment?
