That is a good sign if he's now pooping. Was there anything in the stool? He may still have a partial obstruction. What did the stool look like? If its tarry black, he may have developed an ulcer from all the stress as well.

Dragging or rubbing the face into the floor/carpet or hammock is a pain response. Ferrets hate the taste of Metronidazole and that alone could have stressed him out enough to get an ulcer. Suggestion is to ask your vet to consult with a ferret specialist, that is, a vet who is very knowledgeable and experienced with ferrets. I believe the Moderator already gave you a link in a previous post.
