I would have her monitored by the vet with regular visits (I see you are doing that GOOD) and keep up with the feedings and try to get her active. Activity will boost the metabolism. Maybe offer an extra feeding and make them every 4-5 hours apart rather than 5-6 hours apart? I know when we got Jak-Jak he had been eating dog food which caused a lot of trouble and we are luky he did not get insulinoma. We got him on good food, got him a bit more active and now he is a heavy lil guy without being fat. I will try to weigh him.

Are you offering free choice kibble along with the extra feedings? I would just so she doesn't get dependant on the soup. Its rare but I had a foster that after a bout with insulinoma never ate anything but soup after. She had it really bad and nearly died.

Anyway please keep us posted on your lil girl and as to the slow weight gain it took Jak-Jak 4 months before weight gain was noticeble.
I really need to get a scale that my fuzzies can fit on!

Kathy
