hello everyone,
You all ask me to keep ya up dated on my lil one.
I'm the one that my ferret was having Diarrhea.
and I went to the vet and got him medicine.
seem to perk him up. and the diarrhea clear up.
until Saturday night I had to rush him to the vet again
at 11:00 at night. I had idea what was going on...
I thought he was going to die before I got him there.
vet did his blood sugar ...
it was only 29 so I knew he had Insulinoma .
I had no Karo syrup or honey to give him before I left.
thank God that the vet could bring him out of it.
vet put him on Prednisone .
now for all my questions.
1. what everyone thought on surgery?
2. how long does most ferrets live with insulinoma?
3 what the pro's and con's of prednisone?
4. will my ferret ever be normal?..like playing again?
He still lay's around alot whats to sleep all the time why?
