What are you feeding him? Are his stools any better since he's been on the meds you listed, or are they still black diarrhea (a sign of probable serious ulcers). Is he grinding his teeth (a sign of pain and discomfort) ?

Two immediate suggestions are to supplement some pepcid and to feed some form of nutritious soup, heated slightly above room temp.

10 mg. Pepcid AC tablets diluted in water work well to reduce acid reflux from ulcers and thus help improve appetite. Take one 10 mg. tablet, dilute in 4.0 ml of water, and give 0.25 ml of this solution 3 times daily.

Remember to separate the Carafate from other meds by an hour or more, and give the Carafate 20-30 minutes before meals.

Our soup is a combination of ground up kibble (using a coffee grinder), Gerber's Stage 2 turkey baby food (all meat), and Uncle Jim's Duk Soup mix, with a little ferretone. We add water and also will add in some Forti Flora for one of the ferrets if they are having bad stools. We have two with IBD that do great with this soup.

Being on amoxicillin can kill off the 'good' bacteria as well as the bad, so you might need to supplement some acidophilus or similar good flora, like the Forti Flora that we use.
