Get a vet check ASAP. Have her blood glucose checked at that time, with a fasting period before hand of no more than 2 hours. A blood glucose level in the 70's is probably insulinoma, and a BG reading of 60 or lower is considered a diagnosis of insulinoma.

Here are two links to learn more about insulinoma:

Your best place to start for info is this article by Dr. Bruce Williams:

And then here, from Mike Janke's site:

http://www.miamiferret.org/fhc/treatment.htm

Whenever we've added new ferrets to our home they've had an adjustment perior during which they didn't eat enough, but it usually only lasts a couple of days or so. You can try some hand feeding, which will also help with the bonding process. You can also try adding a little ferretone to the kibble.

Make sure they are getting plenty of water. With new ferrets we make sure they have water available both in a bowl and in a hanging bottle.

As for cat litter, we don't use any at all. We use newspaper and teach them to go on the paper, which is left in 'strategic' places throughout their play area, as well as the bottom level of their cage. It's easy to change throughout the day as needed.
