The question was asked after the post you reference, if it could please be =
confirmed that a 1 lb ferret gets the same dose as an 8 lb cat.=A0 I haven'=
t seen an answer, and I'm really wanting to make sure, as I *used* to split=
a small cat tube between 2 or 3 ferrets, and now=A0don't know if that's en=
ough.

If treating to prevent heartworms then
the dose is much larger than if just
tackling fleas.
Dr. Murrays' posts give the known
effective dose sizes, I think, and
a list member recently referenced
an article as well. Using too small
a dose to be effective would not
make sense, obviously.
Trick to try: On the FHL website
http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/ferrethealth/
select messages in the menu on your left
then above the messages in small,
light blue lettering select
group by messages
and expand
That will let you read all the messages
in the discussion in full in one place,
and sometimes to more easily find related
