Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: thinking about types of adrenal growths that don't behave like adrenal growths
To: fhl <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>
The nodes have been watched well for over a year, so the chances of
there being lymphoma w no changes is pretty minimal. It also tends to
act like normal adrenal growths in testing when in the adrenals. So,
anything is possible, but that is unlikely.
That said, I've gotten some more info, from another excellent vet
friend telling me about some other rare possible adrenal tumors that
can give negative TN panels and respond out of the norm to Lupron.
So, add to the list of things I already mentioned:
leiomyosarcomas, ones with just cortisol elevated, myelolipomas and
spindle-cell tumors.
So, having looked up teratomas and pheochromocytomas, I have a few
more to look up as time allows now.
