Subject: [ferrethealth] Question on disinfectants. (Re-Juv-Nal)
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
Does any one know much about disinfectants? I'm use to using nolvasan with
my reptiles and amphibians. It can be used on ferrets and other small
animals as well. But I went to a janitorial place and they said that a vet
clinic uses this stuff with no problem (well diluted of course). It's called
Re-Juv-Nal. Any one had experience with it? I figured since there's a
distemper out break in my county that I could use it to spray on the shoes
and stuff to prevent any problems. It says it's strong enough to kill the
aids virus. So I'm assuming that the distemper virus shouldn't be an issue.
I have a leaflet on the chemical if any one wants to see it, I can scan it
and post it.
Thanks in advance.
[Moderator:
a sales leaflet may not be appropriate (depending on
content) but an ingredients list would be fine, or you
could put it up elsewhere and give that URL, or send
pdfs of your scan to those who contact you directly
asking for it.]
