Subject: [ferrethealth] Has anyone ever encountered ectopic PANCREATIC tissue? ointment Q
To: fhl <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

The lab is checking to see if they perhaps
somehow got Whizbang's label on someone
else's tissue, but we need to find out if anyone
has ever encountered ectopic pancreatic tissue?
It is NOT thought to be that because they
checked very carefully through the entire area
including under the Cava, but strange things
can happen... *****So, the question is can the
strange thing of ectopic pancreatic tissue
happen?***** (Just trying to learn any possibly
related things, and if they lab did not mess up
and if ectopic pancreatic tissue can happen then
the lab said there was an insulinoma in it. Of course,
it is probably someone else's tissue or someone
else's report.)

The other thing is that Whizbang's vulva is shrinking,
but so far not any more than it has in the past for
antibiotics, but it has begun having problems again.
The pus started up again and then cleared up again.
There is a swelling and on and off some minor bleeding,
though, so one possibility is that she has a splinter there.
So, we'll start warm compresses and a little dilute white
iodine, and she might wind up on antibiotics for a month
or two. *****What antibiotic ointments have people had
good luck with using on ferrets that have not caused
problems if ingested?*****
