Yes. My Violet had a splenectomy on 11/16/06 and is still with us. Madison had one a couple of months ago and is also doing well. There have probably been a couple more but those two popped into my head. Post-surgical care was no different than any other major, invasive surgery, and we had no post-surgical complications with either.
