The only problem we had after splenic surgeries was making
sure the ferrets did not over-do things and injure themselves
because they felt so good with all that added weight removed.
Over-doing too soon after surgery really can cause a lot of
problems and even death. The ones we had whose spleen were
removed all thrived.
