Subject: [ferrethealth] Cinnamon, the splenectomy girl
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
Cinnamon had other plans. Tonight she was breathing hard but she was
hungry and ate a good bowl of mush. Then as I was holding her she took a
few big gasps and died. I was going to take her in tomorrow but I really
didn't hold out much hope for her. There was no sign of ulcers, but
there were two pea-size large nodes under her armpits and a small mast
cell tumor starting on her head. That may have had something to do with
her illness.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I had been giving her Essiac, Pepto when
she was nauseous, Petinic for iron. In the end nothing mattered.
