Subject: [ferrethealth] Addison's disease

I was asked to post this general question here (the ferret is not mine, so I don't know all the details).
Is there a slight chance that a ferret will develop Addison's if only one affected adrenal gland was removed? The owner does not know if the second one was affected or not, but she will talk to her vet.
