Subject: [ferrethealth] What should I do?

I have an albino ferret named Lightning. I got him from a friend who got him from another friend. I am not quite sure how old he is.I was told he is 3. He was left outside for about 1 month or more at the end of last summer. Recently he has been losing hair all over his body. He still eats and is very active. I was wondering if anyone knew what this might be and have any idea how to take care of it without a vet. If I have to I will take him to a vet. Money is tight and if there is a home remedy out there I would like to hear it. Thank you very much.
