Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Need help with IBD
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

When we had two with IBD we were advised by
highly knowledgeable ferret veterinary professionals
to avoid anything raw completely. The risk of infection
is higher for them due to the nature of their compromised
GI condition and treating such infections is harder when
IBD is already present. So, more chance of getting sick
and less chance of successfully treating.

Basically we were told that it could be a way to kill them.
