d *everything*.=A0 Vet did an ultrasound, and found several things that ind=
icated to him that we were looking at intestinal lymphoma... enflamed intes=
tines, enlarged nodes, spots on spleen... he suggested a biopsy surgery to =
be sure.=A0 Gus was confirmed w/ lymphoma.=A0
If you've been going on months with him having diarrhea, his intestines mus=
t be enlarged also.=A0 Honestly, after going thru something similar like th=
is, I wouldnt waste any more time on trying to find the magical thing that =
would help him (been there, done that).=A0 I would get a ultrasound done, i=
t may help you.=A0
Once Gus was diagnosed and started on his chemo meds - the diarrhea *stoppe=
d*.=A0 Completely.=A0 That was the only thing that helped him.=A0
Was he definately diagnosed w/ IBD, or was it just your vet's assumption?=
=A0 If he wasnt biopsied and diagnosed that way, I would be looking more cl=
osely at intestinal lymphoma.=A0 Whatever you do, dont stop the Pred, becuz=
if it is lymphoma, it will come back that much stronger on him if you stop=
the Pred.=A0 If your vet didnt biopsy diagnose IBD and isnt willing to con=
sider that its something else that is going on, I would look into a second =
opinion.=A0 I think I remember you writing about this before, and seriously=
I wouldnt waste much more time on looking for the magical potion.=A0 Pred =
and Immuran are the things for IBD, and if theyre not helping, I've got to =
doubt that its actually IBD.=A0 I hope you find answers soon... I understan=

Well has anyone ever heard of prednisolone and imuran together not helping =
IBD at all? I mean this is ridiculous. He can't go any higher on the imuran=
and he's pretty close to being maxed out on the prednisolone and they're n=
ot helping at all. It's just projectile diarrhea all the time. I've tried m=
inor diet changes but I'm definitely going to look into the natural gold fo=
od and try that. For the people who e-mailed me about forti flora, I tried =
that too awhile back and it didn't help but I'm trying it again so we'll se=
e. The hardest part is trying to figure out the combination of everything t=
o try and get it to help.
