Hard to know, best to have a vet check if you are at all worried.

I have one who wasn't even two and had a similar heaviness develop fairly quickly in her abdominal region. She felt bottom heavy when I picked her up. No swelling in any of the peripheral lymph nodes.

By the time I got her to the vet, literally a few days later she was showing signs of something seriously wrong. X-rays confirmed a large mass in her abdomen that was intertwined with her intestines and was displacing her stomach, necropsy confirmed juvenile lymphoblastic lymphosarcoma.

That is the worse case scenario. But this awful cancer is highly aggressive and comes on fairly quickly.

Hopefully it is not anything that serious - but a vet check would let you know for certain.

... Is it possible she's just filling out, she has grown overall and has lots of new hair. She doesn't react to stimulation of the area and I know they have a high tolerance for pain but she doesn't seem to be uncomfortable. Any ideas?
