The symptoms of adrenal disease are not always so clear, at least not until the disease is advanced. I've had many that I'd suspected though they had no outward physical signs. Running the panel enabled treatment to begin long before physical symptoms began to show. I've since learned to spot the disease very early on based on behavior rather then physical symptoms, though not everyone can do this. For catching the illness early, before physical symptoms show, and for those new to ferrets who want to be sure before going ahead with any sort of treatment the adrenal panel can be a very useful tool.
