Hi all,
As I understand it ferrets are well used in checking
respiratory diseases as their lung tissue, at the
cellular level, is very close to human lung tissue. Point
has been made in my book Ferret Husbandry,
Medicine and Surgery about the risk of infection of ferrets
via new viral sources.
