My heart aches for you. I went through a similar situation with my big boy Dobber he had right adrenal gland surgery. Surgery seemed to go well. I got to see him for a while the next day. He perked up a little when I got to hold him. He passed away an hour after they made me leave. Hemoclips didn't hold is what they told me. I know I probably won't do surgery again either.

message contains something new. In this case, what is
new is an implied question of how often hemoclips fail
and under what conditions. I have never personally
encountered that in 28 years with ferrets and think that
I have read of it on-line only handful of times on ferret
sites and lists in the last quarter century. So, with hopes
