Lynn is correct. The vet has to do the necessary paperwork. which mine did and he has ordered 10 implants for us here in Atlantic Canada. You can't do it for for your vet but it is doable.
If anyone wants the contact information for either my vet or Lynn's email me privately and I will be happy to supply it. It was Lynn's vet who provided the info to my vet.
Not an onerous process according to my vet if one follows all the steps. It didn't take him long to get approved probably because the precedent was set.
