I can only comment on my experience with Forti Flora, I can't really direct you on how much or how often to use it. I think that ferrets who may have their digestive systems compromised by IBD, by use of antibiotics, or by other circumstances that could reduce the 'good bacteria' in their digestive systems may benefit more from it. We have 5 ferrets, and our older girl Trinny is confirmed with IBD. She's on Prednisolone (low dosage 3 times daily, for both IBD and insulinoma), and another of our girls, Luna, also tends to have some digestive problems fairly often. I give them a little more than I give to the other 3 ferrets. All 5 get it in their daily soup, but I mix it in after I heat the soup. I have never given the Forti Flora in any other way, but if you don't feed your ferrets soup, you can probably mix it in with ferretone or ferretvite. It is a powder and mixes easily. It comes 30 packets per box, and 1 packet is recommended by the manufacturer as being the pr
oper daily dose for a cat. I use one packet in total between our 5 ferrets over the course of a week, so they really don't get a lot of it, but I still see it produce good results. I also don't use it every day. Probably 3 times weekly, so I guess that the estimated amount that I use for 1 ferret for 1 day would be about 1/15 of a packet. Trinny and Luna get more than the others, but you'll really have to adjust based on how your ferrets respond to it.
