They need a check up. At their ages they need to
be going to the vet every 6 months for check-up
and blood work.

There is no way around this; veterinary care is
an essential part of providing a loving home for
animals and has to be worked into the equation
when figuring out which ones and how many can
be afforded.

At their ages there are several things they could
be starting, and insulinoma is one. If the stress
of the move has them eating too little the symptoms
like lethargy will show up more.

There are some things you can do behaviorally.

First clean every place they have been "going"
with a safe cleaner that is NOT ammonia based.
You have no idea if the person before you used
ammonia there or had animals who urinated there.
Ammonia smells like urine to them, so they could
easily be trying to cover the scents they perceive
as being from rivals.

If you or your boyfriend wear a scent put that
in all doorways or other places which may be
perceived as thresholds so that the areas are
"scent marked" by you and therefore now safer.
