No, it does not. To me, the wording seems to imply that the effect was gradual rather then something that occurred suddenly, so perhaps it wasn't possible to place an exact time on it.

I will rephrase my question. Would the effects of ketamine/acepromazine not show for two weeks or possibly last for as long as two weeks time?

The study began in January 2004. The ferret was not "deemed normal" until the end of April, at which time melatonin was discontinued. The article further states that the ferrets activity and behavior levels remained normal following discontinuance.
