i have learned so much from the Ferrets for dummies book.
it can answer many if not all your questions.
also, my vet said to give my ferret extra virgin olive oil for itching that is if it is dry skin. so i give him a little. he loves it.
vet said 2 tbs spoons but i think that is too much for 2 lb ferret so he gets 1 tsp or sometimes 1/2 tsp. daily and it does help.
[Olive oil is also a safe moisturizer to apply to skin.
The underlying cause must be treated to be most
fair to the ferret, of course.
