Thank you Sukie. I was in a panic.=A0 I first called poison control center =
and when the recording said they charge you 60.00 to talk to the vet, I hun=
g up and called my own vet.=A0My vet was going to=A0charge me 100.00 for TH=
EM to call the pcc. So I called the pcc back and we determined that he inge=
sted about 28mg of chocolate.=A0=A0Twice we=A0had to give him 1/4 tsp of hy=
drogen peroxide to make him vomit. He only vomited the hydrogen peroxide, n=
ot the chocolate. So they told me to try to keep him active the rest of the=
day and keep an eye on him for anything that might not be normal or for an=
y tremors/seizures.=A0 Your info was exactly=A0the same as what the pcc gav=
e me.=A0So I am sitting with my baby the rest of the night with my fingers =
crossed.=A0 Thanks for your help

Yes, it is very costly for the ASPCA to keep two
24 Animal Poisoning Control Centers, their
databases, and the needed veterinary toxicologists
there and accessible, so the fees simply make sense.
They are per CASE so if a person needs to call
back the case number can be used to get follow-up
information for free.]
