I would recommend not using the carefresh bedding for litter, especially if=
they are sleeping in it. It can cause respiratory problems for them - eve=
r notice how dusty it is? I would try some other cat litter (not the clay =
scooping kind) such as recycled newspaper, other natural litters, wood pell=
ets, that sort of thing.=20

In addition, clean the areas well with something pet safe, clean the litter=
boxes with something pet safe and mild as well.

Can you put something to block the places they are doing their business?

Given their age, I would definitely get them checked out as soon as you fin=
d a local vet. If they are lethargic, it could be insulinoma - so get thei=
r blood glucose checked out as soon as possible. They may not be going eve=
rywhere just to make you mad, they could be stressed, have difficulty due t=
o lethargy, or maybe a loss of control. I'd get to a vet as soon as you ca=
n.
