NOPE. It does not mean that. I'm not saying that
isn't possible, but any visitors to the store or
employees of the store with ECE, or with ADV, or
with Canine Distemper, or with certain influenza
types, etc. can carry in those illnesses and share
them with the kits.

Again, if you don't test, you don't know, and
at least two of the illnesses possible here, the
ECE with the FIP-like presentation (NOT FIP --
the genetic work on the virus exists to know that)
and ADV are such serious illnesses with such
similar presentations possible that the only logical
thing to do to have a firm diagnosis is to have the
treating vets contact the MSU team to check for
BOTH DISEASES:

There are many serious illnesses brought into
pet stores BY THE CLIENTELE. In fact, if you are
still getting your supplies at pet stores now instead
of buying by mail while either illness may be possible
in your home you risk doing that yourself.

I've seen some very worrisome things in pet stores,
even a major public animal pound employee IN USED
WORK SHOES AND CLOTHING right AFTER HIS WORK SHIFT
at the pound during a time when canine distemper
was common among wild animals and stray dogs in
this area.
