our vet [name removed per FHL rules] is an exotics vet, specializing in fer=
rets.he works with the Indiana Disease & Control Center. no, not all the fe=
rrets show the psychical sign of being FIP, but all are treated with=A0the =
cocktail.after several ferrets were not getting better, a couple pasted & b=
odies were sent [Again, names not allowed when a specific case is mentioned=
per rules, so removed] for testing. there is NO Doubt they tested positive=
for FIP.a scientist/specialist was flew in to [Ditto] to formulate the aid=
s cocktail.=A0any future bodies are sent to [ditto].[if it's not on a weeke=
nd. .I can't bare to freeze them]we live a quarantine life.I'm disabled. us=
ually only go out once a month.when the babies go to the vet. when my daugh=
ter goes to the vet,a cover is placed over the pet taxi & we don't go in un=
til right on the time.we always change our clothes going out & coming in th=
e door.hubby=A0spends most of his time=A0in the garage,he greets visitors.w=
e order online all the supplies.we were told all it would take, is a hiss t=
o
transfer the virus.repeatedly washing hands is a must.i would NOT wish thi=
s on anyone.
