You may have a problem with this, most mustelids detest the smell of vinegar. It is used as a deterent in California to prevent released sea otters from following the boat back to the sea life sanctuary.
I have used it successfully to prevent carpet scatching that had become a habit with my Suki, she runs a mile at the first scent of it.
