I have a question that is sort of related to the Adrenal Panel, but in a di=
fferent way.=A0
When my ferrets have shown adrenal disease symptoms in the past, my vet's p=
rocedure is to do an ultrasound to look for the enlarged gland.=A0 He has a=
very sophisticated machine that is very accurate.=A0 If neither gland is f=
ound to be enlarged, he advises waiting appx 3 months and then repeating th=
e ultrasound.=A0 Now I dont know if he advises lupron in the interim or any=
thing as I havent ever needed the repeat ultrasound.=A0
He recommends this over the Panel, because, ok supposse the Panel comes bac=
k positive.=A0 You opt for surgery, and when they open the ferret up, neith=
er gland is enlarged or diseased, which one do you remove?=A0
I'm just wondering if some of you run into that problem in only doing the P=
anel?=A0 Just a thought.
